Polsek Cileungsi has once again uncovered a case of illegal liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tampering. Led by the Chief of Police, Kompol Edison, the team delved into the investigation firsthand. The disclosure of this case initiated with Kapolsek Cileungsi undercover as a package courier, surveilling for 4 days.

Incident Discovery: Kapolsek Cileungsi, disguised during the operation, observed a pickup truck covered with a tarpaulin carrying LPG cylinders near Kirab Garuda Cileungsi. The truck was suspected to be coming from an illegal LPG filling facility in the area.

Apprehension: Upon noticing the suspicious activity, Kompol Edison, along with his team, chased down the pickup truck and intercepted it near the Cileungsi flyover. They discovered several 12-kilogram LPG cylinders inside.

Seizure and Escape: During the arrest, two individuals were in the vehicle, but one managed to flee. The captured perpetrator confessed that the cylinders, originally 3-kilogram subsidized LPG, were intended for resale to a broker in Tangerang.

Evidence and Admission: The seized evidence, including the pickup truck and the tampered gas cylinders, is now held at the Cileungsi Police Headquarters. Further interrogation of the apprehended individual is underway to uncover any additional illegal gas network involvement.
